Jenifer had been dilated at 2cm for two weeks, and it was past her due date, so the doctor recommended inducing on Tuesday, September 7. At 1:45 am of the inducement day, Jenifer threw up. She threw up every 40 minutes or so from that point. 9 barfs later, it was time for our 8:00 am appointment.

As it turns out, while we were up all morning, Jen was actually in labor, but not yet noticing the contractions, due to the nausea. When the nurse connected her to the "contractionomitor", we saw that she was getting nauseous when her contractions were happening. They started the Pitocin (the inducement drug) and soon Jen was feeling the contractions quite clearly.
