O link que me chamou a atenção é o "Random Mission Statement Generator", em , onde se chega através do botão "Cool Stuff" da página principal.
David criou um interessante programa que gera aleatoriamente descrições de objetivos de empresas. Para isto, usou uma matéria prima notavelmente exígua: exatos 17 advérbios, 26 verbos, 39 adjetivos e 20 substantivos. O curioso é que a descrição é gerada inteiramente ao acaso, misturando palavras do vocabulário básico. A cada clique no botão "Regenerate" aparece uma nova missão.
Os resultados são sentenças usando aquela linguagem empolada, típica dos relatórios que procuram impressionar pela forma por não terem conteúdo. Algumas mais plausíveis, outras menos, mas - quando se sabe como foram produzidas - todas hilariantes. Aqui vão uns poucos exemplos, na tradução possível:
