Disappearing Cryptography: Being and Nothingness on the Net
Wayner, Peter. 1996, 1st edition. 306 pages.
Note: I have not read the newer 2nd edition (release date May 2002).
Categories: Steganography |
Disappearing Cryptography details techniques on hiding information (steganography),
hiding communications (thwarting traffic analysis), sharing secrets (threshold
cryptography) and deniability. Small sections of this book seem impractical,
but on the whole it is quite interesting and a worthy read. You don't need much
of a computer science background to understand this book. When faced with the
occasional equation, you can skip it without missing anything important.
